Our approach

Responsible Marketing

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Our purpose

We aim to create marketing that is useful to people and commercially clear for the businesses we support. Responsible marketing is part of how we plan creator partnerships, paid traffic and digital work—not a separate promise added after a campaign has launched.

Clear scope and realistic expectations

Before work begins, we aim to agree the campaign purpose, audience, deliverables, responsibilities and review points. We do not promise outcomes that we cannot control, such as a guaranteed sales level, platform reach or creator response. We explain assumptions and constraints so clients can make informed decisions.

Honest claims and disclosures

We encourage content that is accurate, fair and easy to understand. Sponsored creator work should be clearly disclosed, and campaign messaging should not hide material information or make claims that cannot be supported. Where content relates to a regulated, sensitive or high-risk product, we expect the client to provide the evidence and approvals needed for lawful claims.

Respectful audiences

We avoid strategies that rely on deception, unnecessary pressure, dark patterns or harmful targeting. We consider the audience, context, platform rules and likely impact when planning paid traffic and creator campaigns. Extra care is needed where a product could affect children, vulnerable people or a person’s wellbeing, finances or rights.

Creators and partners

We value clear briefs, fair communication and respect for a creator's audience and voice. We expect paid partnerships to be agreed transparently, properly disclosed and carried out in line with the relevant advertising, consumer-protection and platform requirements. We do not expect creators to make claims they cannot honestly support.

Data, measurement and platforms

For client work, we aim to collect and use campaign information only for the agreed purpose and no more than is needed. Clients remain responsible for the data, permissions and account access they provide, unless a written agreement says otherwise. Our public website does not currently use analytics or advertising trackers. For website enquiries, read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Review and raising concerns

We review work against the brief, available evidence and relevant platform requirements. If you have a concern about a campaign, creator partnership or this approach, contact us at ceo@tellmyth.net or +44 7346 587943. We will consider the concern and decide what practical action is appropriate.
