Privacy Policy

Who this policy applies to
Tellmyth Limited, trading as Tellmyth, is the controller of personal information collected through this website. This policy explains how we handle that information when you visit the site or contact us through it. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17292609. Our registered office is 2nd Floor, College House, 17 King Edwards Road, Ruislip, London, United Kingdom, HA4 7AE.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the name, email address, service interest and message you choose to provide. We also process limited technical information needed to keep the site secure and working, such as the time of a request, the page path and security-related request data. A short-lived, in-memory IP limit helps us identify repeated abusive requests. We do not use the public site to collect payment details, account profiles or advertising audiences.
How and why we use it
We use enquiry details to read your request, reply to you, assess a possible project and manage a potential business relationship. Our legal basis will usually be taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interests in running a secure website and managing enquiries. We use technical information to operate, protect and improve the service. We do not add people to marketing lists or send promotional messages merely because they make an enquiry.
Who receives your information
Enquiries submitted through the site are delivered to Tellmyth through Telegram, so the details you enter are included in a message sent to our Telegram bot. Replit-hosted infrastructure and delivery services run the website. These providers may process the limited information needed to provide their services. We may also share information where a lawful request requires it or where it is necessary to protect our rights, users or systems. We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party advertising.
International transfers
Telegram and our infrastructure providers may process information outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where that happens, the provider's applicable terms, safeguards and international-transfer arrangements apply. We aim to share only what is needed to run the site and respond to your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry and related correspondence only for as long as needed to respond, manage a possible engagement, resolve a query or meet legal and record-keeping duties. There is no single retention period for every enquiry because it depends on what happens next. The IP rate-limit entry is temporary and held only in server memory. We review and delete information that is no longer needed, subject to legal requirements.
Keeping information safe
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive or confidential information through the contact form unless we have agreed a secure method first.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us to access, correct, erase or restrict the personal information we hold about you, object to certain processing, or receive a copy where the law allows. You can withdraw a consent you have given at any time; this will not affect processing that happened before withdrawal. Contact us at ceo@tellmyth.net or +44 7346 587943. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Browser storage and links
We use browser local storage only to remember that you have acknowledged the site-preferences notice. Read our Cookie Policy for details. This site may link to external websites; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site, our services or legal duties change. The latest version will always be published on this page with its update date.
